Voting and balancing

General

One of CrowdControls innovative gameplay features is its auto-balancing. Players vote on cards. The votes are being collected and the balancing of the cards is executed automatically within a given period of time. Players can vote on cards, after they have encountered them in-game. There are in total for options for voting on card: Overpowered, Fair Enough, Underpowered and Inappropriate. Voting on cards earns the council member credits and in-game credits, that can be used for example for card creation.

Entity, Action and Place cards

Entity, Action and Place cards are adjusted through the increase and decrease of their Mana Cost.

Overpowered

The player should vote Overpowered when they feel like a card is too powerful compared to all other cards that they have experienced. If a card receives more Overpowered votes than Fair Enough or Underpowered votes, and it is among the cards with the most Overpowered votes, it will be nerfed by increasing its Mana Cost by 1.

Fair Enough

The player should vote Fair Enough when they feel like a card is just as powerful compared to all other cards that they have experienced. A card that received more Fair Enough votes than Overpowered or Underpowered votes, stays as it is.

Underpowered

The player should vote Underpowered when they feel like a card is not powerful compared to all other cards that they have experienced. If a card receives more Underpowered votes than Fair Enough or Overpowered votes, and it is among the cards with the most Underpowered votes, it will be buffed by decreasing its Mana Cost by 1.

Inappropriate

The player should vote Inappropriate when they feel like a card is displaying inappropriate content (illegal, harmful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, infringing, harassing or racially or ethnically offensive or causes damage or injury to any person or property). The image and flavour text of the card will be removed from the card and the creator will need to update the card.

HQ cards

HQs are adjusted by the decrease of their HP and increase in their Delay. HQs is nerfed by decreasing their HP and increasing their delay. Which value is decrease will have rotates on each nerf level.
